Establishment of walking paths toMemorialize fallen local soldiers

The Jewish Federation of Rochester has generously forwarded an earmarked donation for the establishment of walking paths named for Modiin’s fallen soldiers in the Irons Swords war. Each family chose among a selection of locations around the city, according to their soldier’s personal story, neighborhood & places in town of childhood significance .

 This  is a program in which children from Modi’in take part in a  summer camp experience for 3 weeks.

The camp belongs to the Rochester  JCC , is located on a lake not far from the city  and includes many water-based activities.

The summer camp is attended by children from the Jewish community in Rochester. The children get to meet new friends and develop new relationships.

What does the program include?

Preparatory activities in Israel before the trip to the camp, group formation and a 3-week stay at the camp.

We accept students who have basic command of the English language , who have good social skills and a desire to spend the summer with the children of the community in Rochester.
